外文摘要:NOVELTY - Evaluating the effect of physical isolation on the frequency of genetic drift of a transgenic cotton involves setting transgenic cotton area, isolation area and the conventional cotton area in the greenhouse; dividing isolation area and conventional cotton area into N strips, where one strip of the isolation area is taken as the blank band and rest of the isolation area as isolation band where transgenic cotton area is facing the conventional cotton area for flowering, maintaining the conventional cotton and transgenic cotton planting density; then maintaining light, and temperature.
USE - Method for evaluating effect of physical isolation on the frequency of genetic drift of transgenic cotton (claimed); and for comparing the effects of multiple physical isolation method on the genetic drift of the transgenic crop.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Evaluating the effect of physical isolation on the frequency of genetic drift of a transgenic cotton involves setting transgenic cotton area, isolation area and the conventional cotton area in the greenhouse; dividing isolation area and conventional cotton area into N strips, where one strip of the isolation area is taken as the blank band and rest of the isolation area as isolation band where transgenic cotton area is facing the conventional cotton area for flowering, maintaining the conventional cotton and transgenic cotton planting density; maintaining light, temperature, humidity and other environmental factors during plant growth stage; taking filial 1 hybrid (F1) sample from conventional cotton plant, after flowering, to detect the presence of foreign genes; determining the effect of different isolation methods on the frequency of genetic drift. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for greenhouse for evaluating the effect of physical isolation on the frequency of genetic drift of a transgenic cotton, which comprises transgenic cotton area, isolation area and the conventional cotton area; and air supplying device for providing air to transgenic cotton area and conventional cotton air.
