DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for:
(1) expression vector comprising rice MSP1 mutant gene msp1-1972;
(2) host cell containing expression vector;
(3) molecular marker for detecting rice MSP1 mutant gene msp1-1972, amplified by primer pairs comprising upstream primer 1972-F comprising attttgtcttccaaccagcgg, and downstream primer 1972-R comprising accatcaccattgcacagt; and
(4) molecular labeling of rice MSP1 mutant gene msp1-1972 by amplifying to-be-detected plant genomic DNA by primer pairs, cleaving amplified product by HaeIII enzyme at 37 degrees C, and detecting cleaved product, in which if the cleaved product is 20 bp shorter than wild type 93-11 cleaved product, this indicates presence of rice MSP1 mutant gene msp1-1972.
