DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for:
(1) an expression vector comprises SILKY1 gene mutant silky1-3552;
(2) host cell comprises expression vector;
(3) molecular marker for detecting maize SILKY1 gene mutant silky1-3552, and for the preparation of transgenic maize with recessive genetic male sterility, is amplified by the primer pair having upstream primer containing nucleobase sequence of 21 nucleobases (SEQ ID NO: 2), which are cgtgtgtgttggttggttggt, and downstream primer containing nucleobase sequence of 22 nucleobases (SEQ ID NO: 3), which are gacggacctcatactgctcgat; and
(4) a method for detecting maize SILKY1 gene mutant silky1-3552, which involves amplifying genomic DNA of the plant to be detected by using the primer pair, and then detecting amplification product where if the primer pair is able to amplify a fragment of 2 basepair longer than that of the wild-type rice-based amplification product, then maize SILKY1 gene mutant silky1-3552 is present in the plant to be tested.
