外文摘要:NOVELTY - Use of alcohol dehydrogenase comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, sequence exhibiting at least 80%, preferably at least 86%, more preferably 89% sequence identity with amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or its functional variant, and at least one redox cofactor, are claimed, for transforming at least one trichothecene having a hydroxy group at 3C atom.

USE - The alcohol dehydrogenase and at least one redox cofactor, is useful for transforming at least one trichothecene having a hydroxy group at 3C atom in food or feed of pigs, poultry, cattle, horses, fishes, aquaculture and domestic animals, and in trichothecene-transforming additive and plant raw materials for producing or processing food or feed. The trichothecene-transforming additive in encapsulated or coated form is useful in preparation of agent for preventing or treating trichothecene mycotoxicosis, preferably deoxynivalenol mycotoxicosis (all claimed).

ADVANTAGE - The alcohol dehydrogenase exhibits improved pH and temperature stability and enables to transform trichothecene rapidly and completely.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following:
(1) method for performing enzymatic transformation of trichothecenes; and

(2) trichothecene-transforming additive.
