外文摘要:NOVELTY - An aflatoxin template (I), is new.
USE - New aflatoxin template is used for preparing 11,13-dimethoxy-8-oxatricyclo(7.4.0.02,6)trideca-1(13),2(6),9,11-tetraene-5,7-dione and intermediate for preparing molecularly imprinted polymer for sequestering and adsorbing aflatoxin form material. The material is liquid, a solid, or a gas. The material is chosen from soil, spice, beverage, foodstuff, animal feed, pharmaceutical composition, nutraceutical composition, cosmetic composition, and milk. The method (M1) is useful for preparing molecularly imprinted polymer. The method (M2) is useful for sequestering aflatoxin (all claimed).
ADVANTAGE - The aflatoxin template is nontoxic, and environmentally-friendly and has high water sorption and retention of aflatoxin, and can be prepared by economical and reliable process.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An aflatoxin template of formula (I), is new.
R1=H, 1-6C optionally substituted alkyl, or halo-substituted 1-6C alkyl;
R2=halo, 1-6C optionally substituted alkyl, halo-substituted 1-6C alkyl, CH2C(O)OR', or CH(C(O)OR')2;
R'=H, or 1-6C optionally substituted alkyl;and
R3=H, 1-6C alkoxy or substituted 1-6C alkyl.
INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following:
(1) synthesis of aflatoxin template (I);
(2) synthesis of 11,13-dimethoxy-8-oxatricyclo(7.4.0.02,6)trideca-1(13),2(6),9,11-tetraene-5,7-dione of formula (II), which involves suspending monoacid of formula (i) in polyphosphoric acid, heating to 50 degrees C or more, cooling the reaction mixture to less than 50 degrees C, and adding aqueous solution;
(3) synthesis of 2-((5,7-dimethoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)methyl)propanedioic acid of formula (I'), which involves deprotecting diethyl intermediate including 2-((5,7-dimethoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)methyl)malonate to form a diacid analog, and precipitating the diacid analog to isolate the compound (I');
(4) molecularly imprinted polymer intermediate, which comprises a complex of crosslinked polymer made from a monomer and aflatoxin template (I);
(5) molecularly imprinted polymer, which comprises a crosslinked polymer made from monomer. The polymer has several cavities containing the aflatoxin template (I);
(6) method (M1) for preparing molecularly imprinted polymer, involves providing aflatoxin template (I), combining the aflatoxin template with monomer(s) and cross-linking agent, polymerizing the monomer and cross-linking agent, forming molecularly imprinted polymer intermediate, and removing the aflatoxin template (I) from the molecularly imprinted polymer intermediate; and
(7) method (M2) for sequestering aflatoxin, involves providing the molecularly imprinted polymer having several cavities, and a material optionally containing aflatoxin, and contacting the molecularly imprinted polymer with the material.
