外文摘要: Immunogenicity of an antigen peptide is increased by administering, to an animal, a transfectant that has been transfected with a fusion protein or a gene that codes the same, said fusion protein including an antigen peptide and an adjuvant protein, wherein the adjuvant protein includes two or more proteins selected from the group consisting of the B subunit (Stx2eB) of Shiga toxin 2e, the B subunit (LTB) of a heat-labile Escherichia coli toxin, and the B subunit (CTB) of a cholera toxin.
NOVELTY - A fusion protein comprising (a) antigen peptide (excluding peptide derived from glycoprotein 5 (gp5) of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus) and an adjuvant protein, is new. The adjuvant protein is chosen from two or more proteins chosen from B subunit of Shiga toxin 2e (Stx2eB), B subunit of Escherichia coli heat-labile enterotoxin (LTB) and B subunit of cholera toxin (CTB).
USE - The fusion protein is useful for enhancing immunity in a non-human mammal (claimed) and treating anthrax, tetanus, swine erysipelas, swine dysentery, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, atrophic rhinitis, Actinobacillus diseases, mycoplasma infection, porcine transmissible gastroenteritis, porcine epidemic diarrhea, porcine influenza, Japanese encephalitis, Aujeszky's disease, foot-and-mouth disease, swine vesicular disease, hog cholera, leukem ia, genital and respiratory syndrome, rotavirus, ascariasis, toxoplasmosis, coccidiosis, hemorrhagic septicemia, brucellosis, rinderpest, epidemic encephalitis, rabies, vesicular stomatitis, rift valley disease, Johne's disease, bluetongue, Akabane disease, Chuzan disease, lumpy skin disease, bovine viral diarrhea, bovine leukemia, piroplasmosis and anaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis, avian colibacillosis, haemophilus, new castle disease, highly pathogenic avian influenza, avian infectious bronchitis, fowl pox, encephalomyelitis and tuberculosis.
