外文摘要:Methods for constructing and producing a recombinant adenovirus based vector vaccine containing multiple influenza antigen genes for use in generating broad based immune responses against influenza A and B viruses and that allows for multiple vaccinations in individuals with preexisting immunity to adenovirus are described. Specifically, the recombinant adenovirus based vector is a replication defective adenovirus vector comprising a deletion in an early 2b (E2b) gene.
NOVELTY - A composition comprises a replication defective adenovirus vector comprising a deletion in an E2b gene region; and a nucleic acid sequence encoding an influenza A target antigen and an influenza B target antigen.
USE - The composition is used for generating an immune response against an influenza A target antigen and an influenza B target antigen (claimed).
ADVANTAGE - Methods and compositions for enhanced therapeutic response to complex diseases such as infectious diseases are provided.
