外文摘要：[Problem] To provide an environmental index unit which can prevent livestock from feeling discomfort by automatically adjusting the temperature in the livestock stall, humidity in the livestock stall, the wind speed of air blowing on the livestock, the CO2 concentration in the livestock stall, and the NH3 concentration in the livestock stall. [Solution] This environmental index unit 100 comprises : an environmental index sensor 80 provided with at least one of a temperature sensor 81, a humidity sensor 82, a wind speed sensor 83, a CO2 concentration sensor 84, and an NH3 concentration sensor 85; and a control unit 90 which controls the temperature, humidity and wind speed in the livestock stall such that a discomfort index approaches a prescribed value, and controls air conditioning in the livestock stall such that the CO2 concentration and the NH3 concentration are less than or equal to threshold values.
