外文摘要:CELL TURGING PRESSURE SENSORS DEVICES OF PLANTS AND AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEMS. The present invention lies in the field of pressure sensor devices and their uses for the generation of automatic irrigation systems. More precisely, the sensor devices of the present invention, installed in plant bodies, are configured in such a way as to operate as valves sensitive to the cellular turbidity pressure of plants such that, integrated with components of irrigation systems, allow the automation of irrigation according to the water need of plants. These sensors are characterized by being equipped with a compressible internal duct, called turgormetric duct, connected to the input and output ducts of the sensor. The turgormetric duct is formed by the association of a groove or sensor channel to a flexible membrane sensitive to the cellular turbidity pressure of the plant body, such that the response of the plant body on this membrane determines the compression condition of the turgormetric duct, allowing or preventing the flow of water or air, and thus triggering or interrupting the irrigation action. The present invention also reveals possible realizations of automatic irrigation systems, generated by the integration of the sensor developed to variations of irrigation rods. Among the main advantages of automatic irrigation systems obtained with the use of turgormetric sensors is the fact that they constitute systems that operate with water under low service pressure and in precise harmony with the water need of the plant, providing a solution of greater sustainability and savings in terms of energy management and water resources.
