外文摘要：The present invention relates to a system for monitoring the reproductive cycle in cow, goat or sheep livestock, formed by a reader consisting of a device for detecting mating and a device for measuring ambient variables (DMAT), which are very-low-energy devices, and a novel harness that optimises the positioning and fitting of the reader on the animal. In a preferred embodiment, the system can form part of a telemetric system composed of three units : an RFID chip, positioned on a first female animal; and an RFID reader and an RFID retransmitter, which are able to communicate with each other, optionally wirelessly, and are positioned on a second animal, the DMAT device performing the functions of an RFID reader and also enabling ambient variables to be measured in a low-energy system. The system further comprises a method for analysing the data detected, such that the reproductive cycle of the animals can be monitored.
